Steampunk Explorer

Outside the village of Kent, I met a travel worn girl with brass fitted goggles and a smile. She nodded as we exchanged looks; me on my way to afternoon tea, and she on her way to the aerodrome.

Our common perception was one of pity. Although I have long since traded mine for the imaginings of her adventures.
