Dave Van Etten: I am a commercial artist

I create visual commercial communication elements for those who cannot. I am a plumber with a pen, and as such I sincerely believe in the service aspect of this job. Over the years I have created many different illustrations, logos, and advertisements for a wide variety of national clients, and publishers.

I am as laid back and comfortable to work with as this is written. I have given up pretension in favor of laugher and truly enjoying what I do. Most of my clients are located outside of the state I live in (North Idaho) and all of my work is done via the net. I work mainly by word of mouth, and take pride in the anti-prima donna artist role I set for myself.

My job is to make you look great; pure and simple. Click on the portfolio tab to view some of my past and current work. If you like what you see and want me to do something for you, drop me a line. I am sure we can work something out.

Life does not have to be complicated to look great!

  • I was raised in New York, do work in Manhattan, but choose to live in North Idaho.

Diane Van Etten: I love code!

For years I have watched my husband create wonderful things for other people and wondered what I was going to do when I grew up? It turns out that I love to help people too. Only, instead of visual artistry, I create beauty through code. I love the fluid ever-evolving nature of hierarchal logic. Like secret incantations, these magical strings of variables, flung about with style and grace, provide me with never ending wonder. It is an ever learning adventure that provides a service for others and a balm to my soul.
