With astounding retorts such as this it is no wonder that you haven't the time to actually <em>read</em> the news. The United States Congress (both parties), Canadian Parliament, and the UK Parliament have all discussed and debated this at length and are seeking charges against the man. It was brought up on the floor of the UN for heaven's sake, and it was covered by Fox News ... Oh, and also by NBC, and CBS, and ABC, and ITN, the BBC, Al Jazeera and the FREE press from around the world. From within the Arabic world, (I have friends there too! Isn't the Internet wonderful!) leaders cringe when he speaks. I can almost see them, with one eyebrow raised, mumbling to themselves ... "he didn't really just say that did he?" When Mahmoud cowers in fright, he call his own statements a "mistranslation;" a linguistic game based on semantic interpretation that baffles the western world. It is as if he doesn't believe that we have the intelligence to follow his rhetoric from day to day or from year to year. When he is bold, however, his meaning becomes clear. He does not hedge his words and they are quite precise. Ultimately Mahmoud's worst enemy is himself. He does not know when (or how) to remain silent. Given an audience, and half a chance, his hate and ultimate intent spews forth from his crooked smile and SuperCuts hair-do without effort, thought, or concern. He is a caricature of an evil dictator. If he wasn't so capable of madness, he'd be truly funny; which is the way that I draw him and will continue to draw him. In fairness I have posted all comments to this ongoing conversation, from both sides without censor. I have truly enjoyed the traffic and the numbers of people I have reached ... but this thread has outlived its usefulness ... <strong>and now it is closed</strong>.
